Acceptable Use Policy

Ascents is built on trust. The value of a verified logbook depends on the integrity of every entry in the platform. This policy describes the standards we require of all users.

You must not

• Submit false, fabricated, or materially misleading logbook entries
• Impersonate another user, guide, or certification body
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or data
• Use the platform to harass, threaten, or harm other users
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the platform
• Use automated tools to submit entries or manipulate data

Logbook integrity

The accuracy of logbook entries is fundamental to the platform's purpose. Submitting fabricated entries — or countersigning entries you did not witness — is a serious breach of this policy and may result in immediate account termination and notification to relevant certification bodies.

Reporting violations

If you become aware of a violation of this policy, please report it to hello@ascents.app. We take all reports seriously.

Enforcement

Violation of this policy may result in suspension or permanent termination of your account. In serious cases, we may report conduct to relevant authorities or certification bodies.
